We Made A Musical – Summer 2026

When the notoriously difficult Maths teacher Mary Roberts is found dead in the school staffroom, what initially appears to be a tragic accident quickly becomes a murder investigation when police discover poison in her coffee. With almost everyone at St Barnaby’s having a reason to dislike Mary, from the teachers she has bullied and antagonised, to four rebellious pupils who have openly plotted revenge against her, the entire school falls under suspicion.

As Detective Inspector Smith and Officer Wren attempt to piece together the evidence, a missing staff lanyard, a bottle of pills, a stolen handbag and a mysterious revenge journal seem to point towards the four students. But as the investigation unfolds, the evidence becomes increasingly difficult to untangle, leading to a chaotic courtroom trial where everyone has their own version of events. Just when it seems the truth will finally come out, a shocking revelation turns the entire case on its head, leaving the audience to question whether they really saw the murderer coming.
